I had a few weeks off in-between jobs, and although I was going to the gym, i was finding a lot of my time was being spent on the sofa, hiding from the cold and miserable UK weather, and well, just not being particularly productive. I decided it was time to escape on a last minute trip to get me out of my sluggish mood. Having looked around at a few other places, I found Lamai fitness. I contacted Billy on the Friday, who was super responsive and accommodating meaning I was booked and on my way by Sunday. I did 10 days in total and genuinely would have loved to stay longer. Over the course of my program my fitness levels improved dramatically with the added bonus of losing 3kg. All of the Lamai team are great, big shout out to Billy who was key to keeping everyone motivated and happy. With sessions in the morning and evening you have the day to enjoy the sunshine and the island which really suited me and meant you didn’t burn out. I came on my own and had no problem meeting lots of great people, varying in age and nationality. Definitely planning on coming back when I need another retox. Thanks again.

This year we have decided to run the event again The Great Wall Of China 2017 ! 100% off all training plans and charity donations go direct to the hospital and Dr Rapheephan (shown in picture) splits the costs throughout the department.
After speaking to Dr Rapheephan from the clinic she has told us of the new air conditioning they are installing … So we have decided to keep with the same charity The Childrens Special Needs Ward in Nathon, Koh Samui and hopefully with your support and our teams dedication of months of training and then conquering the 42k on the wall … we will be able to help again ! …

Leanne’s visit was well deserved after a few years of work stress which lead to a bad lifestyle with food and wine. Leanne’s positive attitude helped her get amazing results with a complete body change and 15 kg weight loss in 6 weeks. Aysha Get Fit Fast
Asyha’s journey began from a break from work – a stressful few years working with the UN – she took a break. Nor did she realize she would be with us for 4 months turning her whole lifestyle into learning all about fitness and nutrition. Joining us for events she completed her 21k half marathon and now continues back home in Brussels challenging herself daily.

Lamai Beach Koh Samui is our training ground – from water walking, swimming, and beach circuits we get amazing results – every morning the sun will rise its a great way to start your day only a 2 minute walk from the resort. Swimming out in the ocean to running in the shallow waters there is a exercise for everyone. Long Distance Triathlon group swims are the clients favorite with some amazing natural swimmers who just came to lose weight. 5 minutes from the gym we can always jog down in the mornings to watch the sun rise and feel energetic for the day ahead.

Triathlon Koh Samui
Our latest Triathlon Team who were all package clients originally who fell in love with triathlon all managed to complete the Vietnam Ironman 70.3. With original fitness found at the camp then then completed online programs and we all met in Vietnam. There astonishing journeys and hard work gave them all a medal in on of the hardest events in the world. The Relay Team managed an impressive 2nd place. Dean Weight Loss
Dean from Canada joined us for the Weight Loss Package and after a month of losing 20 kg then decided to stay on for some Triathlon training. Train with Ironman Triathlete Billy Orr – Swim & Run techniques, Learn how to Run – the full low down on making it an enjoyable and beneficial hobby we run on quiet jungle roads or at Koh Samui Stadium Track ( as per picture ) and for some views over mountains – 5 treadmills in the air con gym are available also for paced drill work and rainy days – Billy will actually run and adjust technique with you unlike other coaches.

All our clients will be heading to Spartan Thailand on 19th May for a fun morning in the mud. 27 obstacles over 13k – Ronan, Glen, Trent, Caroline, Cecile and Billy will do the event as a team – hoping to avoid the 30 burpee penalty on each failed obstacle. Hannah has visited us twice over the last few years starting of with weight loss and now get fit faster packages. Hannah’s first day was a shock to her, she struggled with the first viewpoint ‘ overlap stone’ – she pushed through and never gave up each day stepping it up and never missing a session – within a few weeks she completed an Ironman in 5 days – swimming, biking and running and was now ready to sign up for the 50 k North Face Trial Run. Her preparation was amazing following the program and listening when to rest and when to push – she was fresh going into the race and smashed the event getting stronger throughout the mileage – her best times were in the last 10 k getting an amazing 4th place in the female division, a very impressive run and an outstanding performance.
